So Da’nt cha! (do you still drink soda?)




Most of us love to drink soda that’s why it became one of the world’s favorite beverages. Each year, billions of gallons of soda are sold in one country alone. Although it is popular with men, women, and children, experts believe that drinking soda may bring serious health problem. And probably, many soft drinks lovers are aware that it is bad in their health.

I think we need to know more about this drink that we love.
So here are the reasons why we chose to drink soda:

Ø It’s yummy!
Its taste could be the one thing that gets us addicted in drinking soda, it is delicious and savory. As matter of fact, it is good that people drink it every after meal!

Ø It’s in the corner!
I think every corner of this world has a vending machine of soda. Even if you want to drink something else, you would still go for it.

Ø Convenience!
If you want something in a quick or if you are in a hurry it would be convenient for you to grab it and then go.!

Ø Thirst!
People often drink soda to quench their thirst. But according to expert, this is the worst time to drink soda, because when you are thirsty, you have low level of saliva. And this saliva neutralizes acid (soda is the most acidic beverages) and wash your teeth clean.

And here are the some reasons why we should give up drinking soda…
Ø Soda is useless. First of all, soft drinks are composed of refined sugar and filtered water. Therefore there is no beneficial component present in soft drinks.

Ø Kidney damage. Researchers stated that large amount of in take of soda result in enhanced kidney stone formation. And if you are questioning on how these soda could form a stone, it’s because of their acidity and radical mineral imbalances.


Ø Increase blood pressure. Experts reasoned out that over consumption of fructose, particularly in soft drinks, can lead to an increase of blood pressure.

Those were the reasons why we love soda and the reasons why we should stop drinking it.
